Placing Orders and Payment:

  1. How Can I Place an Order Online? Purchasing from our website through our secure internet server is both safe and straightforward. Begin by browsing our product range – choose either children’s books or Islamic books. Upon clicking, a page with various categories will appear. Select a category of interest to view its products. Choose a book or product you wish to purchase and add it to your cart by clicking “add to cart.” After your selection, proceed to “check out” where we’ll request a few necessary details for order processing.

  2. Will I Receive an Order Confirmation Email? Certainly, upon receiving your online order, we will promptly send a confirmation email. Your ordered items will be dispatched within two to three business days using couriers like FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc. Our worldwide shipping generally takes 6-7 days for delivery.

  3. Do You Accept Credit Cards? Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard. 

Security and Changes to Orders:

  1. How Secure Is Your Online Payment Gateway? We maintain a secure online payment gateway, and there have been no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet, we use Bank of Maldives as our payment gateway partner. All credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption when orders are placed, and they are decrypted only upon reaching our computer. No web page stores credit card information in plain text. Book Store Maldives respects your privacy and doesn’t share buyers’ information with third parties. Cookies are used on the site for cart management post item selection.

  2. Can I Modify My Order? Certainly, to change your order details, click the “view cart” button. You can then adjust the quantity of books or remove items from your cart. Always remember to click “recalculate” after making changes to ensure accurate updates.

Shipping and Returns:

  1. How Long Will Shipping Take to my destination? Orders are dispatched within 2-3 days of placement. Typically, you can expect your package to arrive within 6-7 working days via reputable couriers like FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.

  2. What If I Want to Return an Item? If you’re dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it in its original condition within 15 days from receipt. Upon return, we will issue a credit note for the item’s price, which can be applied to future purchases. Please note, that return shipping costs are to be covered by customers. Similar terms apply to order cancellations. In cases of defective or incorrect items, informing us suffices – returning the item isn’t necessary. We’ll arrange a replacement.
